Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 36 cookies
Calories: 183
Equipment: measuring spoons, measuring cups, medium mixing bowl, stand mixer, 3 baking sheets, parchment paper
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- blue food colouring
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line three baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- In the stand mixer, cream together butter and sugars until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla until light (about 1 minute).
- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Add chocolate chips and mix well.
- Shape the dough into balls and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets. (I like every cookie being exactly the same, so I weighed the ball of cookie dough and divided it by 36.)
- Bake in preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
